Welcome to Self Drive Chandigarh. By accessing our website or using our car rental services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

Eligibility

  • The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years.
  • A valid driving license and government-issued ID proof are mandatory.
  • For certain premium vehicles, additional eligibility criteria may apply.

Booking & Payment

  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
  • Advance payment or full payment may be required to confirm a booking.
  • Prices displayed are exclusive of fuel, tolls, parking, and fines unless stated otherwise.

Vehicle Usage

  • The vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes.
  • Sub-leasing, racing, off-road driving, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking, illegal substances, or any illegal activity inside the vehicle is not allowed.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same fuel level. Any fuel difference will be charged accordingly.

Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit is required for self-drive rentals.
  • The deposit will be refunded after vehicle inspection.
  • Any damages, traffic challans, tolls, fuel differences, or penalties will be adjusted before refund.

Traffic Rules & Violations

The renter is solely responsible for all traffic violations, challans, or legal issues occurring during the rental period.

Insurance & Liability

  • All vehicles are insured as per applicable laws.
  • In case of an accident, the renter must immediately inform us and the local authorities.
  • Damage beyond insurance coverage will be borne by the renter.

Cancellation & Refund

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review it before booking.

Service Availability

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings due to vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or unavoidable circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

Self Drive Chandigarh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Chandigarh courts.
